PRETTY IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! 'WARM NEUTRAL' MAC PALETTE

How stunning is this palette! I can't take my eyes off each of the 15 incredibly pigmented and pretty warm shades. Mac have certainly selected the best of the bunch to bring us endless possibilities with these colours.

MAC KEY CLAIMS:

- Features shades that enhance warm skin tones

- Features a range of textures

-Can be used wet or dry

Having used the palette now for numerous occasions such as my engagement party, bridal clients and my everyday go to look, I have to confess I am obsessed! Colours such as 'Amber lights (peachy brown w/ shimmer in a frost texture) has always been a cult favourite and now I understand why! The warmth and brightness of the shade makes every eye colour pop. The colour draws enough attention to the eyes without looking harsh or glittery.

Another shade I have used with every look is 'Dance in the dark (matte dark brown). The perfect crease colour for a subtle everyday look or buildable for an occassion.. The matte appearance makes it ideal for the outer v of the eye and crease.

I wish I could write about how I adore all 15 shades but we'd be here all day! The variety of textures (matte/ satin/ frost/ lustre/ veluxe pearl) makes this a must have in everyone's kit. Even if you only use two shades for your everyday look, you will always find a use for all the shades on different occassions and for different looks. I definitely agree with Mac's claims to enhance warm skin tones- the colours are harmonious with warm skin tones due to their own warm and neutral nature.

Here is a rundown of all the colours in the palette:

  • Hey: Metallic coral (Veluxe Pearl)

  • Warm Breeze: Pastel coral (Satin)

  • Gingersnap: Deep rosy pink (Frost)

  • Dark Brew: Deep chocolate w/ pink pearl (Velvet)

  • Dance in the Dark: Dark brown (Matte)

  • Brule: Soft creamybeige (Satin)

  • Vanilla Extract: Soft warm yellow beige (Frost)

  • Honey Lust: Bronzedipped peach (Lustre)

  • Amber Lights: Peachybrown w/ shimmer (Frost)

  • Saddle: Golden orange brown (Matte)

  • Lemon Tart: Metallic gold (Veluxe Pearl)

  • Creative Copper: Frosted Gold (Lustre)

  • Butterfudge: Dirty mocha w/ gold pearl (Satin)

  • Divine Decadence: Soft bronze (Velvet)

  • Unwind: Dirty olive (Veluxe Pearl)

retail price (original): £65.00

sale price as of july 2016: £49.50

I would highly recommend this palette for any makeup artists, makeup enthusiasts and even beginners. You will not be dissapointed with this beautiful range of shades.

I hope this helped my lovelies.

Be kind, Daya x
